Art Director
At Windmill, we are seeking a passionate and talented Art Director to join our dynamic in-house digital design team. If you have an impeccable eye for aesthetics, a deep love for typography, and an innate ability to create compelling visual stories, we want you to be a part of our journey. As an Art Director at Windmill, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of creative graphic designers and shape the visual identity of our brand across various multimedia projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Windmill’s brand identity shines through all touchpoints, including consumer and B2B channels, digital products, on-platform and off-platform content marketing.
- Lead delivery of branding strategy and directions for various clients and ventures
- Set the creative direction for our design team and maintain uncompromising creative taste in all projects.
- Lead and inspire a team of visual designers, providing daily design direction, feedback, and implementing design standards.
- Conceptualize and execute creative ideas across diverse mediums and audiences, such as websites, apps, emails, ad campaigns, and promotional collateral.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure the Windmill brand thrives and is consistently represented.
- Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and animators to bring creative visions to life.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, including internships.
- Proven experience designing digital assets, including web pages, graphics, emails, web & social banner advertising, and logos.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or design preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) and Figma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Motion animation and/or video editing experience would be a strong advantage.
