As we expand our operations into the UK and European markets, we are seeking a talented Supply/Logistics Lead with strong project management skills to play a pivotal role in establishing and optimizing our business operations. 

Responsibilities: 
Business Supply Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for supply entry into the UK and potentially the European market. Conduct market research to support market supply requirements, trends, and activity in the health and wellness sector according to the venture use cases. 

Product Localization: Oversee the localization of products to meet the specific preferences and requirements of the UK market. Coordinate with product development teams to ensure alignment with local consumer needs. 

Distribution Strategy: Develop and implement an effective distribution strategy, optimizing the supply chain for timely and cost-effective product delivery. Identify and onboard strategic partners for distribution. 

Brand Positioning: Define and execute strategies to position the business as a leading brand in the UK health and wellness sector. Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust positioning as needed. 

Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous quality assurance processes for products, ensuring adherence to UK standards. Collaborate with the science and quality control team to implement continuous improvement initiatives. 

Supply and Logistics: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement to distribution, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. 

Warehousing, Labelling, and Shipping: Manage warehousing operations, optimizing inventory and fulfillment processes. Ensure compliant and accurate labeling of products and coordinate shipping logistics. 

eCommerce and Marketplace Launches: Lead the successful launch of products on eCommerce platforms and marketplaces. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a seamless online customer experience. 

Regulatory Compliance: Navigate and ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements related to healthcare, supplements, and eCommerce. Collaborate with legal teams to draft compliance policies and documentation. 

Supporting via input into: 

Collaborate with the design team to support UK requirements for labels and packaging to align with the venture brand. Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies with market dynamics. Input into content to enhance customer resonance of Nilaya’s products in the local market.  

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the eCommerce and health/wellness industry. 
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory compliance in the healthcare and supplement sector. Lab kit ops & supply management is a major advantage.  
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of successful market entry and brand establishment. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies. 
  • Experience in launching and managing eCommerce platforms in the UK.
