We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead various client engagements, ensure governance across projects, and provide support for new proposals and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of digital product development, and exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, objectives, and expectations.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the engagement.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Governance and Compliance:
- Establish and enforce project governance, ensuring that projects adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to project governance and compliance.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, including designers, developers, and other specialists.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Coordinate team efforts to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and quality standards.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and quality.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Allocate and optimize resources to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Support for Business Development:
- Collaborate with the business development team to support the creation of proposals, including project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and contribute to the development of business strategies.
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Proven experience (5 years) in program management or project management for custom digital product design and development.
- Strong knowledge of digital product development processes, including UX/UI design and software development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Would be great to have:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles.
- Experience in the tech industry or related field.
