Chief Operations Officer

We are looking for Chief Operations Officer to help drive our company forward. We are seeking experienced candidates that have held the role of Chief Operations Officer within a Digital Product Development OR Technology Consultancy/Outsourcing company, who understands the difference between Operations Management (internal) and Delivery/Service Management (external).

Requirements:

  • Dynamic profile with a natural leader aura, who enjoys developing people, teams, and organizations
  • Strategic and solution-oriented person with an entrepreneurial mindset who can handle operational efficiency, cost optimization, business continuity, and P&L
  • Around 15 years of experience in technology engineering/consulting companies with 5 years in IT Business Operations
  • Demonstrated operational experience in supervising Operations, HR, IT, Finance and Administration functions
  • Degree from a Technical University or University of Economics/Business
  • Experience implementing strategic initiatives around improving Operational efficiency, Cost optimization, Commercials Forecast, Budget/Actuals, Cost/Expenses, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in collaboration and project management tools
  • Fluent English

As a plus:

  • Related credentials, training and certifications
  • Tools/Platforms – Knowledge/Awareness
  • MBA (Operations or Finance) OR Master’s degree in commerce
  • Technical, software development related education, experience
  • Experience of working in an international company

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and ethical work climate conducive to attracting, retaining and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels
  • Design and lead business and operational strategies, plans and procedures for areas such as people care (human resources), recruitment, office, assets and facilities Mgmt., legal/compliance, software and service administration including information security and all related reporting
  • Continuously evaluate operational efficiency and make agile enhancements
  • Establish policies that promote the company culture and vision
  • Establish appropriate organizational structures
  • Manage third party relationships including advisors, vendors and partners 
  • Participate in Global Leadership Team meetings
  • Ensure statutory compliance and legal formalities for local and international operational needs
  • Manage and monitor the Operations budget ensuring best value in all expenditures.
  • Develop the overall team maturity, including training and fostering career growth
  • Participate in and lead organizational growth-related activities
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth and lead the teams to reach them
  • Oversee performance evaluation process for staff and recommendations on salary and benefits
